Colin began his career at Kings Chambers in Manchester, having joined them as an office junior when he left school. He then joined 18 St John Street Chambers in Manchester, where he clerked crime for 5 years, before joining St James’s Chambers as their first junior clerk in 2007, clerking civil, chancery and commercial.
The founding members of 23ES Commercial brought Colin with them from St James’s Chambers in July 2015, to become 23 Essex Street’s senior chancery and commercial clerk. The clerking team at St James’s was rated as excellent in the Legal 500 2014 Edition.
